Our History

The UNISOL Corporation is the proud parent company of Maruka USA, operating out of Osaka, Japan. Initially founded as Maruka Machinery, they focused on capital equipment and machinery distribution. The Maruka name quickly became known for our commitment to quality and innovation.  In 1968, recognizing the growing needs of the U.S. market, Maruka USA was founded as a subsidiary with the same mission of delivering exceptional machinery solutions.

  • 1946Maruka Machinery was established

    The Maruka Corporation, known as Maruka Co. Ltd., started out selling various goods in Japan as well as exporting some goods, such as paper, woolen textiles, bicycles, bearings, and tools.

  • 1968Maruka USA is founded

    Maruka Co. Ltd. established Maruka USA Corporation of America (MMCA) in the state of New York. MMCA sold Matsuri bicycles, rims, transmission parts, and most importantly, engine lathes. This helped MMCA establish connections to manufacturers.

  • 1975-76Moving to New Jersey

    The Maruka headquarters was moved to Pine Brook, New Jersey. We also started selling Kitamura machining centers, marking our shift towards distributing manufacturing equipment.

  • 1986TOYO and Maruka started their partnership

    MMCA and TOYO started working together to distribute TOYO machines in the United States.

  • 1990MMCA becomes Maruka USA

    MMCA officially became incorporated in New Jersey and changed our name to Maruka USA.

  • 2011Maruka USA partners with FCS

    Established partnership with FCS to be the sole distributor of their Servo-Hydraulic Machines in the USA.

  • 2012Maruka USA partners with Methods Machine Tools and HWACHEON, and Industrial Tool Inc. is acquired by Maruka USA

    Industrial Tool Inc. (ITI) was acquired in order to guarantee our customers could obtain custom machining solutions, turnkey engineering systems, and robotic systems integration with the standards Maruka USA believes in.

  • 2015Headquarters is moved to the Kansas City area

    Maruka USA's headquarters were moved to Lee's Summit, on the Missouri side of Kansas City. Maruka USA also starts working with Methods Machine Tools, Inc.

  • October 2021Merger between Maruka Co. Ltd and FURUSATO Corporation

    Companies merged and are under UNISOL Holdings Corporation

  • 2024New building for headquarters

    Construction of a 35,000 sq. ft. office building & parts warehouse specifically for Maruka USA's headquarters is completed in Grandview, still in the KC Metro area.
